Help with data transfer from S7 to S8 -

[AC Question]

I tried to transfer my SMS from S7 to my new S8. I used the "switch" app but only half of my conversations came over. Meaning I got everything that someone else sent me, but my responses did not come over. The SMS Back-up didn't seem to make a difference either - I've used that app in the past.

Welcome to Android Central! By "switch," you mean Samsung Smart Switch, right?

Which SMS backup app did you use in the past? SMS Backup & Restore seems pretty reliable.

I wish the program also copied application data (game saves).
