I have a Motorola Droid and have been downloading some music lately. My data gets eaten up, the total free space on my phone goes down but there isn't a file. It says it is downloaded and saved in /storage/emulated/0/Music/"Band Name"/"Song Name".mp3. I have searched the entire phone for the file name and haven't found anything. Where else could the files be?

That path should be the "Music" folder at the root of your internal storage.

Where did you download the files from?
Many of the streaming services will store the localized music in hidden folders so that you cannot play with the files, due to copyright issues.

Your problem is a permissions issue. Your app probably was not downloaded from google play store or it is a music or video streaming app, which will ordinarily hide your downloads because of piracy. Go to Settings, Storage (internal storage), APK apps, and scroll to the app used for downloading and check the box. Tap on the app and scroll down to storage (you will see that storage is not permitted for app), tap and enable download storage permission. Go back to your app and download, then check for downloaded files in Storage (internal storage), you will see the app and nujmber of downloaded files. I hope that helps.
