I'm very new to this smartphone malarkey so I'm very nervous about doing anything likely to kill off my new toy. I recently added an Echo Dot to the household and since then I keep getting warnings about low storage on my Alcatel Pixi 4. I had to add the Alexa app to the phone to connect the Dot and it also added the Amazon app [which I subsequently uninstalled, leaving the Alexa app on it's own]. However that seemed to do little to improve things. I have deleted old messages and moved any pictures [not that there were that many] over to my PC but again, not much doing. I gather I can add a micro SD which is something I am planning but that a lot of apps can't be moved to it.

Does anyone have any advice for a nervous Nellie? I keep being told to uninstall anything I don't use but I'm not sure what to remove for fear of causing other problems.

I know from personal experience how frustrating it can be to use a low-storage device. I believe yours is an 8gb, with less than half that free out of the box. See this: https://forums.androidcentral.com/sh...d.php?t=315804
