My phone started freezing every 5-10 seconds about three weeks. I moved all my app to my SD card in hopes this would alleviate issue, but no change.
I proceeded to uninstall apps that I no longer used, no change
I have not factory reset phone.

    Is Any experiencing this issue?
Any possible solution you can recommend?

Welcome to Android Central! It might be the SD card that's causing the problem. I'd move all apps back to the phone, then Unmount the card (in Settings>Storage), reboot the phone, and see if the problem persists.

If it does persist, then try wiping the cache partition: HUAWEI GEM-702L MediaPad X2 - Recovery Mode - HardReset.info

Hi. I have the same issue since a few days. My additional problem is that I am not able to start the recovery menu by starting the tablet pressing power and volume.down. it starts normal then.
    Any idea?
    Thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! You have the exact same phone?

Also, does the problem persist in Safe Mode? The steps here probably work for your device: How to turn on safe mode on Huawei MediaPad M2

MY Tab is a GEM701L with And.5.0 - But I experienced similar Problems.
    In Detail:
Between 20 seconds and 2 Minutes (it varies) everything is fine.
Than every action is stopped. Scrolling stops suddenly. Video stops as well. Inputs are gathered but not executed. After 2 to 15 seconds: Keystrokes or swipes are executed. Than every thing runs normal until the next stop.
Overall the power consumption is higher then normal. The Ultra power saving mode did not save energy.

    What I did:
Moved all my apps and Data as far as possible to the SD-Card.
    Removed the SD-Card.
I deactivated Apps and System Apps as far as possible.
Than I forced all Apps in cache and all Apps shown as aktiv to stop.
Tested after each action with scrolling, to look for the sudden stop.
    So far no result.

Then I started to force all remaining apps to stop. As I began alphabetic backwards - very soon I found the System- App "VpnDialogs" forced it close.

Everything fine! this App did not start again after reboot. But if you use VPN- functions, after the next restart trouble is back.

"VpnDialogs" forced to close was my solution. I hope this will help you too
