Welcome to the forums. Did you load any new apps lately?

The last app I downloaded was like 2 and a half weeks ago. It was a McDonalds app
But I got rid of it.

The phone did do a big software update a while back. Could that have been the cause?

It shouldn't. But it may be possible that the OTA became corrupted. Have you considered a factory reset?

I guess a factory reset wont do any harm. Still, should I be worried about it or simply leave it be? The phone works fine...

You could leave it be and keep testing it.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you doing the factory reset using the hardware keys, as described here? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-26766
