why does my touchscreen wont work/hangs when playing games

Ok, so i got this problem recently where my touchscreen wont work sometimes when playing games. Sometimes when i was playing games my touchscreen will suddenly wont work, so i thought it was a problem with the game until i turned on touch feedback, when i went to play games it turned out that when my touchscreen doesnt work the touch feedback is still there even when i am not touching it and then the touchscreen wont work until 30seconds or even 1 minute. so how can i fix this problem and what is causing it? Cause i've never had any problems like this with my old phone. Also what is the possible cause for it?
