Hello. I am using a Kyocera Hydro Icon running 4.4.2 Kitcat and whenever I leave to go somewhere without wifi when I return I get an orange wifi symbol. I have solved the problem before by doing a restart, but this time it isn't working. It's been like this for a day or so. Other devices I own (Kindle Fire, Raspberry Pi) all work and are connected to the internet. I looked on other forums, and people said it was a problem with Google, but I can't run any apps, Google or not. Sorry for the lengthy question, just want to make sure you have all the details.

Welcome to Android Central! When the icon is orange, the phone doesn't connect successfully to the web? Does this happen with any wi-fi network, or just your home network?

Welcome to the forums. As opposed to a reboot, have you tried airplane mode?

Ok, how about in Safe Mode? The steps here should work for your phone as well: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-30031
