cant get unlock sim code screen to come up on HTC 626 (boost mobile)

boost mobile , HTC desire 626 , i have unlock code but when i put in a different sim card the screen says simlocked contact customer service there is no options or place to enter sim code. it also will say no sim detected even tho i have sim card in.

Welcome to Android Central! Did you get the unlock code from Boost according to their unlock policy, or did you get it from some 3rd party? 3rd party unlock codes won't always work.
