Why is my mobile data not working fast anymore?

I have been using mumy mmobile data the past few weeks without any problems. However, jjust two days ago, when I turn it on, it connects, but the apps that need connection say say otherwise...I've tried everything. Any advice?

Welcome to Android Central! So is the connection slow, or do those apps not connect at all? Have you tried calling your carrier about this?
