Since the S7 software update was pushed out in early 2017, my Verizon S7 won't sync to my windows 10 PC. Under battery charging icon, there used to be a security option that would allow data transfer and that has been removed in the update. This makes it virtually impossible to download photos, music - all files directly from phone to pc.
Was this some kind of plot by distributors to force us to sync through their clouds in order to sell more services ?
Has anyone found a workaround ?
