Lg g4 won't connect to pc

My PC recognized my lg g4 phone but won't connect

After connecting the phone, unlock the security screen, and allow the computer connection.
In the notification bar, drop down the USB info and make sure the connection is MTP.

If the computer is still not seeing the phone, go to LG's website and download some new drivers.
After one of the win10 updates, my box no longer saw my LG G4. While the "bridge" (?) software is not used, the updated drivers it installed solved the problem with File Explorer.
