Where do my photos go when I save them to my imac from my Galaxy s7 n using smart switch?nsfer

AC Question

I down loaded the Smart Switch software on my mac, connected my s7 to the mac with usb cord, and successfully backed up my phone photo/video data onto the mac. But where is it? I thought it would go to iphoto?
