AC Question

On my new Galaxy S8, the first time to use it's Gallery app after taking some pictures, in order to look at them I am faced with this DECISION which looks like pictures go first out to some CLOUD SERVER. I don't want to use the CLOUD. And I don't want some server to categorize my private photos.

"Disclaimer The Image analysis service categorizes the content of images (people, places and things) in the Gallery app in order to enhance searchability and story auto creation. The information is stored on the server and deleted after one week. If you do not select Agree, this feature will not be available."

Welcome to Android Central! If you're using the stock Gallery app (rather than the Google Photos app), it's probably some Samsung feature that allows you to search more easily for various aspects of your photos. If that's not important to you, then you don't have to agree to that.
