I have just received a smartwatch for my android phone. I am having some questions about what apps to install to connect the watch and use it which those things it is able for ?

There are many different master apps for control, installing other apps on the watch

Which one is the best and will help me use the watch ?

First off - what watch? Knowing this will help us tremendously as the app selection on Android Wear-based devices is different from that on devices based on Tizen (Samsung) or some other off-brand watches that do their own thing. Also, The watch being on Android Wear 2.0 could change the app selection compared to 1.5.

It is a Q18 watch, bought from Geek.. Was more to try one and see how it works for me

I can't tell you if it is on andoid wear 2.0, but have a good idea that it is ?

But need to try and then see..

That does not appear to be running Android Wear, it appears to be running its own OS based on watching this video review -

Watching that video, it appears there is an app you install in order to connect to the phone for notifications.
