contact message tone won't change from factory

The message tone to ONE of my contacts will NOT change from the factory message tone. I've tried customizing the contact to have a "special" message tone, and it still rings the factory tone. I've even tried deleting the contact completely, and as soon as that number messages me, it will ring the factory tone. I've tried doing a factory reset. Nothing is working! All I'm trying to accomplish is to change my message alert tone to ALL.

Welcome to the forums. Zedge is an app that can download and set other tones. Perhaps that can be used as a workaround? I don't think you can use it to set your own sound, though.
