Google Fit stopped tracking any activities on my samsung note 6 phone.

Google Fit stopped tracking any activities on my samsung SM G920V phone, version 7.0. It was updated on May 11th, and continued to work up until May 16th and then it just stopped. Nothing. I live in NYC and I walk EVERYWHERE. My job is on my feet. I have checked every activity settings, location settings, connected apps. I'm very frustrated because i reached out to Oscar and the google fit app and no one can help me. Is it the stupid phone or a bad app. someone please get back to meeeeeeeeee!
