Screen turns off but not on

[AC Question]

I have a lg vista and I just got the screen replaced today. My power button has been acting funny for a bit but normally I can double tap the screen and get it to come on. Now mtg power button will turn my phone off but not on and it when I tap the screen it does nothing. In order to get it on I have to plug it in to the charger of pop the battery out. What is the deal?
