Retrieve photos from crashed droid turbo 2

[AC Question]

I have a droid turbo 2 that totally crashed. It will not turn on at all and the verizon store worker says its basically trashed.

I would like to retrieve my photos from the droid turbo 2 that crashed.

I'm not real familiar with this kind of thing.

I did have verizon cloud and Google photos on the turbo 2 that crashed.

I'm assuming my photos automatically were saved with verizon cloud or Google photos?

Could you guys possibly explain step by step what I can do to retrieve my photos once I get my new droid turbo 2?

*If your photos were saved to cloud storage, then signing in to your Google or Verizon account would give you access to them on your new phone.
If not, and the phone is not recognised when connecting to a PC in order to transfer the photo files, you could consider asking a repairer whether it could be got working sufficiently to do that.
