I had the Sm-g930v software on my galaxy s7. I got on average 2 hours of screen on time with things disabled and low brightness. Snapchat seemed to be the biggest drainer. I then installed the G930U firmware to get rid of Verizon's unwanted programs. screen on time improved, up to around 3 or so hours (18 percent currently and have 2 hours 45 minutes.) my friends all get 6-7. I'm not quite sure why? I have an sd card if that helps at all and since I installed the firmware I just reset everything. could it be a battery defect? or since my phone is in a lifeproof case and it gets hot?

    any help is appreciated, thanks!

Go into settings and look under battery, what does it show is draining it? What kind of standby do you get? Is it rapidly draining when not in use? Or only when the screen is on?
