I have a locked screen Quad-Core tablet saying youtube app has stopped working.

I can't enter my pw fast enough to open it so it just keeps clicking the same screen youtube has stopped working. I have turned it off, rebooted it from the main screen because I can't open it. Is it possible to reset the tablet from the outside? Tkx
