So i dropped my phone and learned that my display cable was probably disconnected from the logic board. so i opened my phone up and learned that this was true and reconnected it. i put it all back together and the screen comes to life! however when i tried to enter my pin the touchscreen wouldnt work... so i factory reset it. On the beginning part i can select my language however anything below it such as next and emergency call i cannot press. Does anyone know whats happening?

Welcome to Android Central! Either the cable is still not properly connected, or something else about the digitizer got damaged. You could try opening the phone back up and rechecking the connection, but if it looks good and the problem persists, then you might have to replace the digitizer (which usually means replacing the screen as well).
