Factory Reset isn't completing on my Android TV

[AC Question]

Hi, I hope someone can help.
I have manually reset my box with a toothpick and have selected "wipe data/factory reset". My box is still erasing data for over 20 minutes now.

Why is it taking so long? Is this normal?

What should I do?

Welcome to Android Central! It sounds like a problem with the firmware or hardware (which is not unusual for these kinds of no-name or off-brand devices). What's the brand and model number? Did you select that factory reset option from the Recovery Menu?
