Update from 6.01 to 7.0

[AC Question]

I have a Tab A(2016) model SM-T580, running official android 6.01, build T580XXU2AQA2/T580NEE2AQA1/ which I bought last fall in Denmark. A few days later I bought the same tablet for my wife. Today she received and installed an update from 6.01 to 7 . Checking manually for updates to my tablet I got the message that the latest software was already installed. Why can I not get the same update since my tablet is identical to my wifes? Please advise ASOP. Jens Claes Hoelgaard
