My head phone jack is not working

[AC Question]

I only get LOUD static out of the left ear with occasional pause. It was acting a little weird before, but only minor stuff like skipping songs. There doesnt seem to be anything in the jack.

Welcome to the forum. Assuming all your non-headphone jack audio works I'd say you have a bad jack. They are very fragile inside and are easily screwed up. Or, you could just have a bad connection on the left channel somewhere.
