I baught last year a samsung galaxy j5 and since few months comes aproblem that when i plug the original headphones in the screen freezes then the phone starts rebooting untill i plug the headphones out then it works normally .I have tried to plug other headphones and the problem still exists . I know someone who has also the same issue with this smartphone what could be the problem
Welcome to the forum. Sorry you're having a problem. From what you describe I'd have to guess there's a hardware problem with your headphone jack. I think that's reinforced by the fact you have the same problem with different headsets. If your phone has bluetooth you might consider going that route.
