you can use the "find my phone" feature from google, sign in with the same account you use on your phone, and you should be able to remotely change it and unlock it that way. If you don't know the account or can't get the password to the google account, than the pin is doing what it's supposed to do, keep unauthorized folks out. Just like your car or house. No key, no getting in, even if you technically own it.
