Nexus 6P running android 7 badly

Since downgrading from the Android O beta back to 7 my Nexus 6P hasn't been running as it should. It doesn't respond all the time when I go to wake it up and I often find it's turned itself off. It seems to be unable to keep up with itself at times. Any fixes? Or is it just getting tired?
