what does the blue light mean on the top left of device

Galaxy S6 Just got this from my grandso. Can't get it to turn on, but the blue light is on above the "samsung" name on device

Welcome to Android Central! That might mean a problem with the battery or motherboard. Try pressing and holding Power and Vol Down together for about 15 seconds to see if it turns off. Then plug it into a wall outlet overnight, and then try powering on by pressing and holding Power for about 15 seconds. If nothing happens, you'd probably have to bring it to a repair shop.
