Since new os a few days ago every app needs updating.. Normal ?

Hi,

A few days ago I updated the OS all of a sudden nearly every app has to br updated and my Facebook and Life 360 apps started playing up.

Are others having this problem since the new OS ?

If the update was to a new major version of Android, like 6.x to 7.0, many apps would want to update so that they correctly, or more optimally, run on the newer OS.

Which phone?
Which carrier?
Which old OS?
Which new OS?
