Why can't I make calls from my tablet?

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet, and which provider? Are you trying to call from your cell number, or using a VoIP app (like Skype or Hangouts)?

Tablets in the US don't have telephony, so you can't use them to make voice calls unless they're VoIP calls. Tablets sold by wireless carriers that are LTE-enabled only use the 4G signal for mobile data, not calls.
