Pictures on LGv10 uploading to computer small and low resolution

[AC Question]

I have an LGv10 with an SD card. When I upload the pictures from my phone to my computer (windows 10) via USB, more than half of them are very small and low resolution as compared to on the phone. Some upload as the full size and high resolution, but most do not. I've looked in settings, but I'm not sure if this is a computer issue or phone issue.
I'm just so confused as to why some upload as they are in the phone and some upload at a much smaller size and very low resolution..
I haven't had this issue in the past, just within the past few months.

I've never had this issue. I too have transfered camera photos from my V10 to my Window$ 10 PC, but the resolution is retained. What location on the device are you transfering from? The camera photos should be stored in:

sdcard/DCIM/Camera/
