Clunking noise when unlocking screen

[AC Question]

Motorola Moto X Pure edition. Just recently my phone starting making a clunking noise when you unlocked the phone. It occasionally happened while the phone was on for no apparent reason. No notifications. Downloaded an app to check for random notifications but it hasn't noticed anything yet. Deleted all apps that I downloaded since it started and nothing short of turning off all sound from the volume switch seems to work. No recent updates either. All sound notifications have been turned off in the settings and the noise still occurs if the volume is up. Took a video but not sure how to upload here. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to the forums. Do you have 'screen locking sounds' disabled in settings - sound & notification - other sounds?

You can also create a widget for the notification log and see what's included in there. Long press an empty spot on your home screen - widgets - scroll down until you find 'settings' - drag it to the screen and select 'notification log' from that list.
