If a comment is deleted in a group message, would it remain on the other members devices?

Once an SMS/MMS message is sent, there is no unsend nor any way to change the message on the recipients' phones. When you delete a message off your phone, you are affecting only your phone.

It is possible that the sender did send the message and their carrier did not deliver it, especially if the photo is too big; but that usually results in an error message being displayed to the sender.
