Why can't I delete facebook off my LGAristo?

I have a gotten a new LG Aristo from Metro PCS and I have decided I want to delete Facebook off my phone. Every time I try to uninstall the app it says i can only disable it not delete it...what do I do?

Just disable it. It was installed as a system app by the manufacturer. The only way to completely remove it is rooting which voids warranty.
