AC Question

I just bought a new Android phone and I'm looking for a good, ad-free music player. Nothing fancy. However, as with other apps that don't have a close/exit button how do you know it's still not running in the background when you pause the music and move on to something else? Is there any way to tell what's still running in the background?

Normally you would exit the app using the "back" arrow button.

Pausing the music normally would leave the app still running. Multi-tasking to another app normally would leave the music app still running.

Of course, the details would all depend on which music app you are using.

Welcome to AndroidCentral 😃

In order to see all the Apps that are currently open, minimised or previously in use. Just click on the 'Square' menu button at the bottom of your screen. It should have a circle and triangle next to it. Then simply click the 'X' icon next to each App to close OR swipe left or right on the App window and it will be removed.

Hope this helps.
