Verizon does not offer an optimize app any longer. Does Samsung make one to keep the phone in peak operating condiiton?

You should, at almost all costs, avoid running any apps that interfere with resource management on modern Android devices. The only time you should ever be interested at all in RAM, cache size, running apps, etc. is if you are troubleshooting a specific issue in the software. Otherwise, let it do it's thing.

Androids are like wicketsmat. fuggedaboutit.

The S7 already has a built-in app that can help keep the phone running smoothly.

I highly suggest never downloading cleaning apps as they tend to mess phones more than help.

I tend to agree with which is why I mentioned being highly selective. That being said, simply clearing unused apps from the multi-task drawer is a great way to keep things optimal honestly.
