Headphone Bluetooth connect to Moto Z cell phone

Ordered Sony MDRXB650BT bluetooth headphones. Looking for advice/tips on connecting Moto Z phone to these headphones. example: NFC?? Pairing?? This will be my 1st time using Bluetooth technology so just looking for some advance info as headphones arriving by mail today. Thank you

I use Sony Bluetooth headphones MDR-X950BT with my S8 Plus. They should connect to your phone without any issues. Go to Settings>Connections>Bluetooth. From there you can watch them connect to the headphones. Make sure you have the headphones close to you phone for the first time connection. Very simple to do. Thanks.
