I have the Walmart Family Plan. My question is: My regular droid's screen is being replaced. I took out the sim card and put it in another Android phone I have. Do I need to re-activate the phone? The reason I ask is that, the new phone keeps saying there is no data service or no network. I don't understand this as the Walmart Plan uses T-mobile and the phone's data setting is set to "on." I'd like to get my email and surf the internet.

    Thank You.

Welcome to Android Central! What model is the other phone? Are you sure it supports T-Mobile's bands?

You may not have to activate but enter the correct APN settings. At the same time, the new Android device should support TMobile's 3G/4G bands else you'll be limited to 2G only. Since you're unable to see any internet on your phone it mostly means you're missing the APN settings.
