Why is my storage almost full

[AC Question]

So recently I bought a new phone samsung galaxy a3 2017 and its perfect but 1 thing. The storage is almost full I have 16 gb but the system is taking 10 gb like wtf in cleaning the data and apps don't even take 1 gb.

Welcome to the forums. The OS takes up quite a bit of storage, and I would assume you have apps and other data on the phone. Granted a 16gb phone is somewhat marginal these days, but certainly usable, and I wouldn't consider just over half "almost" full.
