How to copy a number from caller list, to the dialer screen, and then edit it?

Before 7.0/Nougat, I could press 2 sec on number in the recent calls list, and then choose the option "Copy to Dialer screen" (I work in dutch, so I'm guessing on the exact terms here)

This is useful when you need to correct a number before you want to dial it...

HOW can this be done in Nougat?

I'm on Android 7.2 on the Nexus 6P. When I long press the number, I see three options:
-Copy Number
-Edit number before call
-Block/report spam

Your options may vary based on the OS customizations made your handset manufacturer.
