Last month for the first time in 14 years of Verizon service, I blew through 12 plus one extra GB of data. I have never used more than half that (used to have another device and never lowered my GB). Went to Verizon and got no help. Started over this usage period and watched my phone and discover it won't stay connected to home Wifi. Of course, my $750 Galaxy Note 4 has one payment left on it so I essentially have an expensive paperweight on my hands. Have tried about a dozen different things to fix it to no avail. Don't won't to buy a new phone when this one isn't even paid for. Is there really NO FIX for an expensive phone like this???

Welcome to the forum. When was the last time you rebooted your router and modem? Whenever I start having wifi issues it usually turns out to be that. For some reason routers get loaded up. Another thing to try is remove the connection from the phone and reestablish it. Is wifi being dropped at certain times of day? There is a settings in some phones to go to data if the wifi signal drops to a certain level. Things to look at.
