I have a lg stylo 2 that's rooted I can't unroot it and I don't know what's taking up space cause everything is on my SD card. What can I do to free storage? And is there a safe way to unroot a phone?
Welcome to the forums. There are many more things than apps on a phone, and you can't move all the apps to the SD card, only part of each app is actually placed on the card, the rest is still on the phone. Whether the phone is rooted makes no difference, you need to use a file manager and get rid of data on the phone that you no longer need. Yes, you can unroot a phone, but it would not make any difference in this case.
