I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that the screen is cracked but, the phone still works fine. The insurance pays to replace the phone and I'm getting my new phone tomorrow. I've moved a bunch of apps to the external SD card. Question, do I need to move these back to internal storage before using smartswitch and also setting up the new phone? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forums. To be save, I would transfer all the apps back. SD cards fail for no reason, why take the risk.

You only ever get a part of the app to the card, the guts stays on the device memory. If you take the card out you have some of the app but not all...
