Why my mobile isn't deleting files?

I bought a galaxy J2 just two days ago and it isn't deleting any photos or videos that are in my sd card. My internal storage is all right and its deleting files too. But the files in my sd card reappear after a moment i delete them. Please help. Thanks! And please tell a way that doesn't included formating the sd card.

Welcome to the forums. Do you have the files on the SD card backed to a cloud account? If so, some are set to redownload them if the original is deleted.
