    Hello,
I am trying to open an 8GB video file on an SD card on my Teclast X16 Plus tablet running Remix OS 2.0 (on top of Android 5.1.1). The SD card is NTFS (as the tablet does not recognise exfat). When I try to play the large file through MX player, it gets part of the way through, then stops (as if the video has come to an end).

I can play the file fine from the internal storage of the tablet, or on a USB drive (using an on the go cable). However when I try to transfer the file to the MicroSD using a file explorer, it says "task failed", having only transfered 2GB.

The SDcard should be legit as it was bought from Amazon and has good transfer speeds (Samsung EVO 64GB).

Does anybody know how to allow larger files on the SDcard?

    Thanks

Welcome to the forums. That is a very large file and I'm assuming the phone is running out of memory while trying to load it. I also seem to remember something about a 4GB limit on SD cards, not sure it that is applicable to this, but could be.
