I don't want anyone to know m cell phone is on silent alert.

How can I set m cell phone on silent alert and at the same time NOT let those who intend to call me, know that? Some people may notice that it's on silent alert and therefore not bother to call.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

How would they know it's on silent? It should sound the same on their end unless you're out of range of a tower (then it goes direct to VM). They may also know if you're on another call, some carriers have a "drop tone" at the end of the ring on the caller's end which would indicate this.
