AC Question
Hey all,
I've run into what seems to be a not uncommon case where the Galaxy S5 will power up but not fully boot - it will stop on the carrier (in this case T-Mobile) logo. I have tried clearing cache along with most other suggestions for troubleshooting this issue with the exception of a factory reset. I have some info on its Internal memory that I would like to get.
Do I have any options for recovering the data? The phone seemed healthy otherwise, though it was starting to slow down/use more battery. I decided to give it a reboot, but it never came back up.
It seems the computer (Win 10) recognizes it as a USB device, but there is no filesystem to mount.
I've seen scenarios where people have used a factory reset to get past the carrier screen, followed by a data-recovery software to restore the files. This would be my last resort, I want to make sure I exhaust all other options. I mistakenly backed up part of a bitcoin wallet on the internal memory, so there is monetary value there.
Thanks in advance!
