Why doesn't my Galaxy Alpha have 4g option?

A

AC Question

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Alpha - which is supposedly 4g lte supported -- however, my phone does not even have the option to turn it on. In settings (I've been reading) I go to "More Networks" then "Mobile Networks" where there is SUPPOSED to be an "Network Mode" option where I could choose 3g or 4g etc. When I go into "Mobile Networks" these are my options: "Mobile data", International Data Roaming", Access Point Names", & "Network operators". None of these (when I go into them) have any options for 4g.
As I said this is a brand new phone and it has a brand new sim card (which I just checked also is 4g supported) I was in an area where 4g works because my husbands was working fine on is BLU.
Other than updating the phone's software (which I was prompted to do) I have done nothing to the phone, made no changes. I really just want my phone to work as it should. Ideas?? Suggestions??
