Why do others hear my videos as underwater?

On my phone the audio is fine, i can capture videos and play them back and they are perfect. But if i send them to someone they hear it like i took the video under water? Phone calls are fine. Just with videos iv taken and only others hear it?

How are the videos being sent? If the video is being re-compressed for sending via MMS or e-mail, both video and audio quality might suffer.

Have you tried uploading the video to a cloud storage service (like Photos or Dropbox) and then playing the video on a web browser? Does it play correctly? How about copying the video file directly from your phone to a computer? Does it sound bad there, too?
