    i crossed the boarders and changed sim cards now its acting as if my phone is lost yet i have it with me ad it wants the privacy pin

    Welcome to Android Central! Privacy protection is either related to the SIM card (i.e., a SIM lock) or some "privacy mode" that's specific to the phone. Since it came up when you changed SIM cards, it's presumably a lock that was placed on that card -- where did you get it from?
